The Complete Works of
William Shakespeare - abridged
Join the fun as three eager actors attempt to perform ALL of Shakespeare in about 90 minutes. The show opens with Romeo and Juliet, then moves through Titus Andronicus as a cooking program, Othello as a rap, the comedies (all combined into a single play), the histories as a football game, and many more. The second act is the grand production of Hamlet, involving temper tantrums, audience participation, a grand finale - performing it backwards (so you won't miss the beginning if you are late returning from intermission - and you don't leave early).
Director Kaichen McRae, vacationing from college, has cast her brother, Carson, who played Ralphie, along with their Dad, Allen, in FCT's 2002 production of A Christmas Story as one of the three; also Tim Sampson (he recently played key parts as Winnie the Pooh, and in Damn Yankees, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wiz and The Music Man: also Eric Weathers - Joe Hardy in Damn Yankees. Both he and Tim were fabulous in Fauquier High's Thoroughly Modern Millie this spring and are ready to go it again!
